This case is high-quality, sturdy, and probably roomy enough to hold a DS (lite) protected with a form-fitting shell or rubber skin (in other words, nothing too bulky). Also, it has a pouch for a good number of DS game cartridges, but, I would argue, NOT enough space for the charger. One of the images above shows a charger neatly packed into the pouch, which is fine, until you try to close the case and zip it up. It’s not that tight of a squeeze, but it’s more strain than I would expect from a case whose images suggest that it comfortably houses a charger.
Furthermore, I only gave it 3 stars, because it was a bit bigger than I expected. I was looking for something more form-fitting, and this case gives the DS lite more room than I think is necessary. (Of course, this could be a good thing if you also have a protective covering on your DS.) To be fair, I probably should’ve looked at the product dimensions before purchasing it and being bigger isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
Finally, I was a little disappointed when I discovered that the interior of the case is not as soft as I was hoping/expecting. It isn’t hard or coarse or anything and it probably won’t scratch the DS lite, but I was expecting it to be softer.
By the way… I just looked up the dimensions for a normal DS, and this case looks like it was made for a normal DS, despite what the pictures show and despite what one of the other customer reviews say. The interior of this case (not including the sides with the zipper, etc.) is almost exactly 5.85 by 3.33 inches. I can’t guarantee that it’s for a normal DS, because I have a lite, not the original, but it seems like it was meant for the original.

I ordered a Nintendo case through Amazon, talked with an agent to MAKE SURE I was ordering a NON Lite case as my granddaughter’s Nintendo was the older slightly larger model. The actual package containing the case came from another company, not Amazon. The package was opened at Christmas and eventually given away to someone else who had a Nintendo that would fit in it. My granddaughter’s did not fit in the case. I was NOT HAPPY.
